Why is Sales Training so important?

Simply put, Training is where you acquire new selling skills, learn new sales concepts and techniques and and improve the way you currently sell.

So do you need Training?  Ask yourself the following questions:

  • Do you have ALL the skills to perform at the TOP of your game?

  • Are you the BEST at what it is that you do?

  • Is there NOTHING more for you to learn?

If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, then you need to book a session with a personal coach FAST!  Because the reality of any Professional, anyone at the top of their game, is that you HAVE to consistently sharpen your skills, find any edge you can and believe that there is always something new to learn!

So, to sum up why Training is so important?  It's where you go to not only become the BEST, but to ensure that you are always the BEST!

  1. To always 'practice' on or with your clients and spend years figuring out for yourself the best way to sell?

  2. To attend Training, learn about all the various sales techniques, perfect your selling skills, and ALWAYS offer your customer the BEST experience?

Why is Sales Coaching so important?

Once you have acquired all the skills of selling (in your environment), it's important to know if you are using all your skills effectively and efficiently.  You need a fresh set of eyes to assess how you do what you do and to determine if there are any areas that you can improve on.  And this is where coaching come in to it.

A coach observes you, talks to you and gives you feedback.  Without a coach, you don't always recognise the performance issues that are standing in your way.  And if you do, you don't always have the answers to fix them.  And so what happens is that you stop improving.

A Sales Coach is not the person you go to for Training, but rather the person you go to to improve the way you do what it is that you are doing, and to highlight your ares of self improvement or lack of skills.

You need Sales SKILLS


You need to know everything there is to know about HOW to sell what it is that you are selling.  We call this your Sales Toolkit.

As with all toolkits, you don't need all the tools to complete a particular job.  But rather the right combination of the right tools. 


And not all jobs are the same, and not all customers are the same.  Therefor you need a variety of tools available to you, so that you can chose the right tools for the right job.

Sales is the same.  You need to master many many skills.  Then select the right skills to sell the right product or service to the right customer.

You need product KNOWLEDGE


You cannot successfully and consistently sell a product or service that you yourself know very little about.

To build value in what it is that you are selling, and in a way that adds value to your customer, requires an in-depth KNOWLEDGE of what it is that you are selling.

But wait, there's more! 


You also need to know all there is to know about WHO you are selling to.  Their needs, wants, perspectives and why they would want to invest with you.
